Free directory coverage requests
A coverage request researches one customer-supplied part for one exact bike, subject to the displayed abuse-prevention limit. The result identifies supported relationships, required hardware, conflicts, confidence scores, source links, and anything that remains unverified. Fitment Map does not charge for this service.
Research, publication, and customer responsibilities
Automated research begins after complete intake. The private result remains available in the browser and is emailed when the requester provides an address. Most jobs should complete promptly, but source availability and provider outages can delay or prevent automation. Qualified evidence may be added to the public directory without publishing personal information. The requester must provide accurate model year, generation, market, modifications, and exact part details.
Corrections
Fitment records may change as manufacturers revise parts, bikes, or documentation. You may submit stronger evidence or report a factual error. Conflicting or insufficient evidence can cause a record to be withheld, downgraded, or removed.
Important limitation
Fitment Map provides compatibility research, not installation instructions, mechanical inspection, engineering approval, or safety certification. Sources can be incomplete or change after review. The customer remains responsible for confirming current manufacturer instructions and using a qualified technician for safety-critical work.
Published fitment data
Fitment Map's published fitment database, selection, arrangement, and original descriptions are provided for personal reference. You may link to individual public records. No license is granted to copy, redistribute, sell, or use the database in bulk without prior written permission. Manufacturer materials and factual claims remain subject to their original sources and applicable law.
